Senior Telemetry Engineer

The role

The capture pipeline is the heart of SimGains: it records every lap from the moment a driver leaves the pits, across every supported sim, without a single dropped sample. You'll own it end to end — from shared-memory readers and UDP listeners to the on-disk lap store.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain capture adapters for new sim titles
• Keep sample rates locked under heavy session load
• Design the local-first lap store and its migration path
• Profile and fix the hot paths that keep capture invisible

What you'll bring

• Deep systems experience (Rust, C++, or similar) on Windows
• Comfort reverse-engineering shared-memory and UDP telemetry formats
• Care for data integrity in the face of crashes and alt-tabs
• Bonus: you race, and you're annoyed by your own braking
